At Beechpark Studio we had created a recording environment which was designed with the comfort of the artists to the forefront. We considered peace (and peace of mind!), daylight and line of sight between artists and engineer. Great attention had been paid to each room\u2019s acoustic properties, which is an attribute essential to recording solid performances.<\/p>\n

The 60 channels console used was an Audient 8024. This allowed for great flexibility when recording in terms of monitoring and headphone mixing. A multitude of high end mic preamps, compressors and processors were present. We also had a large and varied selection of microphones.<\/p>\n

We used Pro Tools HD, Digidesign 192 interfaces with 32 inputs and 40 outputs as standard.<\/p>\n

There also used to be an \u00bc\u201d Otrari MTR15 analogue tape machine with Dolby A\/SR.<\/p>\n

The studio was particularly well suited to bands and groups who like to perform together. \u00a0There were options to isolate instruments or vocals of course, but we had designed the facility to be capable of recording everyone at once. \u00a0Up to seven different headphone mixes were available and a camera system so everyone was able to see each other.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
